What Is the Student Teacher Ratio?
There is a 8 student class limit in all classes 2 year old classes. A 12 student maximum in all 3 year old to 3rd grade classes and a 15 student maximum in all 4th and up classes. All classes have an instructor with 1 to 2 assistants. This smaller class size allows for more individual attention from teachers, and as a result students progress at a faster rate than in a large class environment. The smaller class size ensure that a teacher can catch any problems before they turn into bad habits or improper technique.
What Are The Extras Required At Recital?
Most studios put on a year end show in a professional theatre. Students that perform in the show must have a costume for their dance number. Some studios may require parents to sew their child’s costumes, or pay extra and the parents must find their own seamstress to do the sewing. Most studios also require parents to purchase tickets for the recital performance night.
Our studios use our own professional seamstress to sew and alter the costumes, so parents do not have to worry about any costume hassles. Our studio also gives each family 2 free tickets for our year-end show. We also provide helpers/dressers to dress your children for the show. By providing these dressers it allows you the parent to enjoy the entire show. This way, you as a parent will not be faced with any extra work or expenses.
Variety Of Dance Styles?
Some dance studios only offer the basics of dance styles, ballet, tap & jazz. Dance has grow over the years and style changed. We at Kellar Dance Dynamics not only teach the basics but we also offer modern, hip hop, Country western & Ballroom. Our teachers are highly trained in the dance styles they teach. They have danced in that style for a number of years and continue their education by attending master classes & workshops. We also offer tumbling, Pilates and yoga.
